Description:
Yoshida is a very strict man. He doesn’t show much emotion, and is in general a very calm personality. Usually when you meet him, he will act a bit as if you are worth less than him, and despite him being fairly polite; he is often one to think badly about others when speaking with them. He tend to focus more on people’s flaws rather than their good sides.
Yoshida haven’t gotten many fears – it is not that he is fearless – he can become scared, but he doesn’t have any phobias, and living the way he does, he can’t allow himself to coward. He is high status Yakuza, but not a boss. It isn’t anything he is bragging with among normal people, but he would never lie and say that he wasn’t in it, unless it was for his own safety. He’s very loyal to those who he finds worth it (ex. His boss), and he appreciates loyalty more than anything else as well. If he feels betrayed by someone, he is not very likely to just let it pass. He has killed before, and he isn’t afraid of doing so again. It isn’t that he runs around killing just anybody, and it does take a lot to get him to a sudden point, yet he is psychotic in the way that he sometimes fantasizes about spilling blood. Ever since being a kid, he always had a strange fascination of serial killers, and would often picture in his silent mind, how he would have done these things if it had been him.
When mentioning that he is sick like this, the easiest way to put it, is to say that he is a psychopath. And as these often are characterized, he sees himself as always being right and the rest of the world is wrong. He doesn’t feel guilt, and will always be able to make up excuses to justify his wrong-doings, if he feel that he needs to do so. This causes him to be a mix between a liar and a boldly honest man. He will bluntly spit out his opinions most of the time, and in general he doesn’t like to lie. It is too bothersome to keep track of all the different lies. But if it is benefitting him, he will keep secrets and hide things from you.
Overall you can say that Yoshida isn’t the best guy you could come around. He is able to tell what is right and what is wrong, but in the end, all his actions is based on what will do himself good. An example could be, that being loyal to his boss, it gives him money. Being nice to a woman, means she will be nice in return, and maybe it could result in more than just being nice…
He rarely feels the need to show care or concern for others. The only time he really felt so, was at the age of 21, where he fell deeply in love with the daughter of his current boss. It was because of this, that he joined the Yakuza, and the couple lived together for 2 years before she died in a car accident. It was after this, that his psychotic behaviour started to kick in for good. It was also here that he finally lost the last little faith he had in that something was bigger than what the eye could see. No gods could exist when they let the only one he truly cared for die.
Since then he hadn’t experienced love, but if he did, he would become possessive and jealous. The fear of losing another person that important would be unbearable.
He’s cunning and sinister, and half the time you can’t trust him. He might act nice, but in reality he most likely got ulterior motives.

Bios:
Short version:
Yoshida was originally named “Yamato”. He was a manipulative little shit his entire childhood, with rich parents who worked a lot. In highschool he was first bullied, since he was a bit chubby, but realized that he needed more than just money now to get things his way, since this was a fancy private school. So he lost weight and became fashionable in stead, and then he would continue to be a sinister bitch, who deffinetly didn’t treat his girlfriends nicely. He was quite murderous in his mind, actually.
After highschool he took a year just lazing off, partying and in general acting like a complete D.bag. drugs, parties, sex you name it. His parents found out and urged him into studying. He would study economics and ended up working in a bank. At 21 he met Shiori, who became his first true love, and they would start dating. She was daughter of a Yakuza boss, which was why Yoshida joined the Yakuza. Shiori died, Yoshida devoted himself 100% to the yakuza, and at some point investegators got at his trail for a murder. He fled to the states where he got a girl named Camille out of trouble, got her to marry him to get a greencard so he could stay. Here he had changed his name to Kai. He lived for some years in the states before it was safe to go back to Japan. Again he changed his name, so he couldn’t be traced by the illegal stuff he had done there. He changed name to Yoshida.
Camille and Yoshida then moved into a nice apartment in munona.
Detailed version:
Yoshida (Or ‘Yamato’ as his birth name was) grew up in what you would call a normal family home in a small town south from Kyoto. He had no siblings, and his parents worked a lot. In his early years he didn’t appear to be any different from other children, except how he learned to speak faster than other children at his age. He liked to spend time alone, and would often sit in his room and draw all day. It wasn’t that he was in particular good at drawing, but it gave him the ability to take a break from the world and just live in his own little world inside his own head.
During his younger years in school, he was quite popular. He had many friends, mostly because his parents were rich and lived in a nice, big place with a huge garden where they had put up a playground for their son. Yoshida didn’t know at first, that many of the children only wanted to be around him, to get to play at his house, get free stuff from him and so on, but around the age of 10, he realized which power the money his parents had would give him if he used it right.
Yoshida would start using it to take advantage of the friends of his. If they did not do as he told them to, he would tell them they could never come to his place. He would tell them, that next time when he would have friends over, they would plan on how to beat the person up. This just being an example of the blackmailing he did, which over the years only became worse.
In front of his parents, Yoshida never seemed to do anything wrong – he would always be polite, always smile and be ‘a good boy’.
His actions never seemed to get any real consequenses, except sometimes he would get in fights, but many children did so.
Highschool was not an easy time to Yoshida. Having lived a life in wealth, he wasn’t in particular skinny by the time he turned 15. Not overly fat, but compared to most other boys at his age, he was bigger. He was tall also.
His parents send him off to a private boarding school, and for the first time in his life would Yoshida find that he couldn’t use his money to manipulate people. The private school was only for rich kids, so here he held no power like that. He even felt what it was like to be bullied on.
This only lasted for two months.
But Yoshida refused to let himself get beaten down. He would show them just how foolish they were for making fun of him. He would put his focus into losing weight, started doing workouts along with his schoolwork. He was sharp of mind, so grades never seemed to be a problem. Within the rest of his first year of highschool, the boy transformed himself from being the lazy, chubby guy into being fit and stylish. A new power he had found to manipulate. Looks, money and the fact that he knew just what to say to make people believe his pretty little lies. He got many girlfriends during his highschool life; 16 to be exact. He would play with them, then dump them when he found someone better. But he never truly felt anything for them, and it was all just in the playful years of his hormones taking control.
But his hormones was mixed in with some quite dangerous thoughts. All his life he had found murdercases interesting. Not because of how they were solved, but how they were committed. And his hormones mixed in with these thoughts was a spicy cocktail. He would often fantasize about his girlfriends in many different ways; sexual as well as torture and brutal murder. At first he acted like the playful but sweet guy, but during his last year in highschool he started to require other things from his girlfriends. He wouldn’t wait long for them to want to sleep with him, and when they did he was rough, violent, and liked to almost choke them, make small cuts if he was allowed to. He never forced it on them, but would rather go the way of manipulating them into allowing him. And how would he keep them from telling on him, when he crossed the line? How did he keep them from even telling anyone at all, what happened? He simply just made sure to take very graphic pictures of them – this sometimes even when they were asleep. This was a powerful weapon to use; one threat of sending it to the parents, or printing it on posters to put up all over the school, was enough for him to shut them up.
He started doing drugs around this time also. He got involved with the wrong kind of people. After highschool he would spend a year just loafing it off on his parents money, partying, doing drugs and stealing things. However he never got caught or punished from anything of it. His entire life was full of his own wrong doings, and it never backfired on him. He had confidence, he had money – he had it all, he thought.
…. However this would come to an end. His parents started to worry more and more about their son, as they one day came home two days early from a small vacation, and found their boy high on something together with these thugs in their livingroom.
Yoshida was told to instantly stop this behaviour and get back into studying. And surprisingly enough, he did. He figured that if he did not, he might be disowned, and being wealthy and with money was better than rotting away with drugs, sex and parties. This he could always do again later.
He would start studying economics, and for some time he actually seemed to be at the right path. He was doing good, got good grades, and the future seemed to be wide open with endless possibilities to him. He was of a good family, a good background, and despite his true sinister personality, he knew what to say, how to behave and what to do, to twist the people in his life around his pinkie.
But his life was about to change. As he turned 21, his friends threw a party for him, and here, this seemingly random evening, Yoshida found himself falling in love for the first time. Shiroi, was her name. She was a fighsty, smart and caring young lady. At first she was very cautious of Yoshida. His aura felt off to her, and she had a feeling that there was more to him than the smiling façade. Yet she gave him a chance, and despite Yoshida’s past, he found himself changing for the better, simply just by having her in his life. Yet he wouldn’t lay down his manipulative behaviour, but this time his intentions were true and honest; he simply just wanted her in his life.
It took half a year before the two of them got together. Yoshida however had no idea of what world he was stepping into. The night of when she finally said yes to him, and they later that evening would get naked together, he was revealed to a most beautiful tattoo all the way down her back. A indigo dragon with the most beautiful sakura blossoms surrounding it.
Being in Japan, being Japanese, Yoshida of course knew what this most likely meant.

Yakuza.
But this did not scare him off. Quite the opposite; joined the Yakuza- under her father being his boss. This way he could prove himself worthy of Shiori, and show that he was one to be trusted.
The next two years passed on ever so perfect. Yoshida, who at this time officially worked in a bank, would get the great news from Shiori, that she had gotten pregnant. Full of joy over this, Yoshida went to get the biggest diamond ring he could get, planning on getting down on his knees for her and marry her before the baby would be born. - The sooner the better.
But as Yoshida had asked her to meet him at the same restaurant where they had their first date, she never showed up. Instead he got the message that the taxi which Shiori had been in, would have crashed, killing both the driver…. And Shiori.
This broke Yoshida. From this day on he was back in his old world; the world where he fantasized about killing; about different ways of slicing up people. He never left the Yakuza, but the opposite; he put all his focus into getting higher up in the ranks. He couldn’t deal with the grief, and in stead he shut people out, who was not a part of this new ‘family’. He stopped all contact to his parents, quit his job in the bank to spend all his time, all his dedication into the Yakuza.
As years passed, Yoshida was the man who would be hired when someone didn’t pay their debts. He was the one taking care of those who needed to feel what the bottom of Tokyo bay felt like, with concrete solidly planted around their feet. He would be there when new agreements were made, he would be there when important things was decided.
He would be there, whenever needed. Whenever he could.
But time would, that 10 years after meeting Shiori – as he had passed 30, an investigation of a murder was starting to show it’s trails back to Yoshida. For this matter, he had to flee the country. He had managed so far to keep his sleeves as clean as possible, but this ugly stain had to be removed instantly, if he did not wish to face death penalty.
At this time he rushed off to the US. He went through a lot of work on getting a new identity to be able to leave the country without anyone really paying attention to it.
He changed from his birthname, which was Inori, Yamato, to his new name; Saotome, Kai.
In the states his plan was to start up a casino, and then see how long time he had to stay there, before he could return to Japan.
But he had trouble; to stay he needed a greencard.
This was, at his 31th year that he met the, at that time, 18 year old Camille. She had gotten herself involved with a gangster, who didn’t seem to wanna let her go. He saw this as an opportunity to get himself helped out. He struck a deal with her; He would get her away, get her safe, and in return she would have to marry him, so he could stay in the country.
It was a complicated case to get it all to success, but Yoshida managed, and the two of them fled up north to get away from all the problems she had been involved in. Here Yoshida would finally start up his Casino. One Casino became two… became three… became four. He was doing great, actually owning these casinos, and yet they seemed to be in the name of someone else. Of course it was nowhere near legal business.
Camille and Yoshida lived together for 5 years, before it finally seemed to be safe to go back to Japan. The murder he had committed, where his trail had been hot, had been solved, but with another man as the killer. Yoshida, being who he was, felt no guilt about this; a probably innocent man – or at least innocent in the sense that he did not commit that crime.
This was the perfect timing. Investigators had gotten their nose stuck into one of his Casino’s, but since it wasn’t in his name, and the money he made from them was under the table, he put it into a secret bank account and fled the country. Camille wanted to come with him, which he agreed to.
Yet once again, he changed his name. This being in case one of the people working there, would spill out his name. so from Saotome, Kai, he changed to Ishikawa, Yoshida. Ishikawa after the boss of his, seeing how he would go back to work for him. This was to show him the greatest respect he possibly could. The two of them had never gotten a problem with each other as Yoshida left, since it would be for the better. And as promised, Yoshida would come back when possible.
Camille was now the one who was allowed to stay, due to being married to Yoshida. They got a nice, big apartment in what appeared to just be any other neighbourhood.

Ishikawa, Camille : His wife. they game this ongoing game of who is in power. Yoshida is cheating, she is probably cheating too, and so they fight, angrysex, more fighting, then calming down. some makeup sex probably. Things are very elevated with them, all probably because of just how shitty a husband Yoshida is.

Torres Marcio : Yoshida's personal little man-bitch. Marcio owes him money, and to begin with it wasn't all that much. but being a racist asshole, Yoshida decided to trick him into bigger dept, and in the end he forced him out into prostitution. He is trying to break him apart slowly. Why? Simply because Yoshida is an asshole. Since then, Yoshida have however grown quite fond of having this guy to torture in different ways. He find his company entertaining.

Reina Martinez : His cleaning lady. Yoshida isn't in particular treating her badly, but he is looking down on her. He does in general not feel too happy about foreginers (despite being married to one.) but since she speaks fine japanese, he does not mind too much.

Alannis Gwyn "Al" Finnegan : Delicious Pastry chef. Yoshida met her as he needed cakes for his casino. He's a little puzzled about the fact that she's white (.... he's still a racist, I'm sorry) and yet he finds her attractive

Tsurugi, Hinako : a most attractive young lady. She works at a place where Yoshida went to talk to the owner.

Hibiki Saitou: Dude who came to the casino.. dressed as a woman. quite strange.

She went to complain about Yoshida and his wife being too noisy (due to angrysex), but ended up crying, and according to Yoshida; pissing her pants before she dissapeared into the depts of whatever he doesn't give two shits about.
